2024 Convention - York, ME
The ACIF convention in October 2024 met in York, Maine. The convention dates were October 24 - 26. Our hosts are Jinny and Bob Brodsky, who opened their home on Saturday and showed us all of Jinny's wonderful collections! Jinny's collections were amazing! Baby bottles (silver and ceramic, some in original boxes), invalid feeders (every shape and size), medicine spoons, pacifiers, hooked rugs, Halloween décor and so much more!
Thanks to Bob Beckerer for the miniature gourds with "ACIF" carved on them.
We went to lots of antique stores up and down the coast, Yummies candy store , and seafood dinners (Joyce loved her lobsters).
Pictures below reflect the auction on Friday night, Jinny and Bob's home and collection on Saturday, and the sale Saturday night. We were so glad to have our usual group of Don & Joyce LaFont, Sandra Bladen (from England), Jinny & Bob Brodsky, Charna Sansbury and her daughter Stacie, Christy Caldwell, Metty Thomason, Bob Beckerer, Kathy & Mark Blackman, and Teresa & Heyward Davis. New to our society and first time convention attendees were Mary and Scott Lowe from Connecticut.
