2022 Convention - Shillington PA
The ACIF convention met September 22 - 24, 2022 in Shillington, Pennsylvania. Tom and Cathy Robusto and Jinny Brodsky scouted out the area for us and Metty Thomason and Charna Sansbury hosted the convention. The Best Western hotel was a busy place with local youth sports teams staying there too. We lucked out with a great diner was in the parking lot of the hotel. Dinner there twice!
There were fifteen of us at the convention, plus Sandy Leidich, a local member, who joined us Friday evening. There was no host collection to see, so many of us headed out into Lancaster county to antique shop, visit Amish stores and even stop at a quilt fabric store.
Saturday evening's sale featured hundreds of feeders from Myrtle Clark's collection that Don LaFont brought. Bottles lovers didn't have much to ooh and ahh over, but feeder collectors were happy!
Officers were elected and current officers are continuing in their roles. Jinny Brodsky will take over as Editor of the KA newsletter.
