ACIF meets annually, usually on the last full weekend in July, or more recently the second weekend in September, at a location of mutual interest. Members bring many unusual or rare items to show and share with other members, usually there is a presentation by a member on a certain type of feeder or a manufacturer, members donate items for our auction and there is also a sale. Most of all it is a chance renew friendships and to gather and discuss recent finds, current sources and prices of collectibles and the history of old feeders.
Prior conventions: their locations and hosts (when known). Historically, every fourth year the ACIF convention was held in the same location as the Federation of Historic Bottle Collectors (FOHBC) national convention as indicated below with (FOHBC) after the city and state.
The 2020 ACIF convention scheduled for September 17 - 19 in Wethersfield, Connecticut has been CANCELLED due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our members.
In place of our annual in person convention we will host a ZOOM get together on July 25, 2020 starting at 1:00 PM eastern time. We'll do a quick business meeting, then provide time for everyone to catch up and do some show and tell, as well as an online SALE! Please send in your annual membershiip form and dues and indicate whether you will attend the ZOOM meeting. We will then send an email out with the ZOOM invite a couple weeks in advance of July 25.
