ACIF meets annually, usually on the last full weekend in July, or more recently the second weekend in September, at a location of mutual interest. Members bring many unusual or rare items to show and share with other members, usually there is a presentation by a member on a certain type of feeder or a manufacturer, members donate items for our auction and there is also a sale. Most of all it is a chance renew friendships and to gather and discuss recent finds, current sources and prices of collectibles and the history of old feeders.

Prior conventions: their locations and hosts (when known). Historically, every fourth year the ACIF convention was held in the same location as the Federation of Historic Bottle Collectors (FOHBC) national convention as indicated below with (FOHBC) after the city and state.

The 2020 ACIF convention meeting place will be in Wethersfield, Connecticut and the host will be Bob Beckerer, Jr. The convention will be September 17 - 19, 2020. Hotel reservations with "ACIF" group can be made $89/night + taxes with:
Comfort Inn Wethersfield - Hartford, 1330 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield CT 06109
     Phone number: 1-860-563-2311
There is lots to do in the area. Brimfield MA Antiques & Flea Market is the week before the convention. Plans are underway for a day at Sturbridge Village.
